The Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for Community & Regional Policy Studies Major (CRPS) of Ritsumeikan University

MEXT stands for Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology of Japan. For many students interested in studying in Japan, MEXT Scholarship is very well-known.

**The amount of the scholarship is subject to change annually according to budgetary constraints and cost of goods

***Recipients must maintain a GPA of 2.3/3.0 or higher, otherwise the scholarship will be revoked.

Students don’t need to submit a separate application for MEXT Scholarship. When students apply to CRPS Major of Ritsumeikan University, they will be automatically considered for the MEXT scholarship. If you don’t receive MEXT scholarships, you will still have Ritsumeikan University’s Tuition Reduction Scholarships (20%, 50%, or 100%), so you don’t need to worry.
